Why Reach was founded

Our “why” unfolds from necessity with Sebastian (Bas), our founder, at a pivotal moment. Launching a startup, he faced the all so common challenge: his network was limited, and attracting inbound leads was slow, costly, and unpredictable.

Searching for a solution, Sebastian rediscovered the humble cold email. With a sprinkle of creativity and a pinch of modern tech, he and his team quickly whipped up a stable recipe.

What began as a necessity for his first startup evolved into the core business of his next; empowering others in their quest for growth.

How it all started

Business statistics

Originally from different countries, Sebastian and Andre first met in a business statistics class in a University in South Korea. Little did they know that struggling on a class project together was the prologue of bold business beginnings.

Parted ways

While Andre found his way to Google and Sebastian dove head first into startup land, they kept their bond tight with texts, tags, and tweets.

Shared problems

Eventually working as the Growth Lead of Temper, a giant Dutch flex-work platform, Andre faced the same challenge as Sebastian once did; he needed to grow into new markets on a budget.

Growth-Machine

That’s when Sebastian, armed with his brand-new growth machine, came into the picture. Their collaboration hit the mark, helping Temper reach its targets as if they found a map to buried treasure.

Side by Side

Seeing the magic in their teamwork, Andre decided to jump ship and join forces with Sebastian as his cofounder in 2021.

Onwards!

And just like that, they were off to make little specks of history, one successful partner at a time.
